Thematic Series

On behalf of the ECLC 2017 organizers, we would like to announce the final call for submission of the papers to a special issue of Polymer Science, Series C devoted to polymer-related advances in liquid crystal science. This issue will feature regular papers, short reviews, and perspectives so that you can present original research, literature analysis, or personal view on a particular topic related to polymer liquid crystals.
Polymer Science, Series C is published under the auspices of the Russian Academy of Sciences by Pleiades Publishing and distributed worldwide by Springer. Its latest impact factor is 2.556 (Clarivate Analytics, release of 2017).
The online submission is open at http://polymsci.ru?lang=english, where you will find a special link to submit your manuscript to Series C (special issue). Your paper should be submitted no later than 15 November, 2017. All contributions will be peer-reviewed.
If you have any technical questions, do not hesitate to contact the Editorial Office at editor@polymsci.ru

Selected submissions related to nanostructured LC systems and applications are to be published in the Beilstein Journal of Nanotechnology/BJNANO as a special thematic series. The Beilstein Journal of Nanotechnology is a fully open-access journal (NO submission fees for the author/free to the reader), publishing high-quality peer-reviewed articles that are archived in PubMed.
Please note that these are not typical conference proceedings, but an invitation to submit to a special issue (Thematic Series entitled, "Nanostructured liquid crystal systems and applications") in the Beilstein Journal of Nanotechnology. Only selected manuscripts that pass the peer-review and quality-control process will be published, so please submit only original research articles, letters or reviews for consideration.
BJNANO is a PLATINUM OPEN-ACCESS journal (submission fees are fully funded by the Beilstein-Institut, all articles remain open access), publishing high-quality peer-reviewed articles that are archived and indexed in all major repositories, search engines and databases - complete with a DOI specific to your paper. You retain the rights to your paper according to the Creative Commons Attribution License agreement. BJNANO encompasses all aspects of nanotechnology with a 2016 Impact Factor of 3.1 (and quickly on the rise!).
BJNANO began publishing theme-grouped volumes (Thematic Series) in 2010 and has demonstrated great success with more than 50 Thematic Series published to date. Note that the articles of this series will appear together on the series webpage, but will be individually published here as soon as they are completed - no waiting on the entire volume to be accepted before your article is available online!
The submission deadline for our Thematic Series is AUGUST 15, 2017. We would greatly appreciate if you would let us know via email bjnano@eclc2017.msu.ru by May 15, 2017 whether you intend to submit a paper, and if so, in which format (Review, Research Article or Letter). To submit your article (anytime after April 15th), please upload it directly to the Beilstein Publishing System at https://www.beilstein-journals.org/bps/ along with your cover letter containing the following information:
Thematic Series: Nanostructured liquid crystal systems and applications
Corresponding Editor: Prof. Alexander Emelyanenko
Please review the Instructions for Authors at http://www.beilstein-journals.org/bjnano/submission/submissionOverview.htm and consult the Beilstein Journal of Nanotechnology Editorial Team with questions regarding submission and processing of your article ( bjnano-editorial-office@beilstein-institut.de).
